During my recent visit to New York , Chris and I linked up with 2  fellow cre8tives that happens to run a video production company called   www.opencitymixtape.com. My first thought before seeing there work was “Dam another music site! “. After visiting O.C.M. i was plesently surprised that there were no “mixtapes” available, instead a series of videos shot & directed by A.V. Rockwell and produced by Amy Collado (pictured below). These young ladies are killing it! Im totally inspired!  Here is there latest piece of work  ”Gotham Fucking City” the official video for a song by New York recording artist Smoke DZA featuring Joey Bada$$.

In the past month ive seen this 2012 Dodged Dart commercial millions of times…..I usually just jam away to “Church in the Wild” by Jaz-Z and Kanye West playing in the background but this last listen was a little different. “Wanna make a great car interior, stop looking at car interiors” haunted me for days so i decided to share. As humans its a natural intuition to follow in the footsteps of those that trekked similar paths in which we plan to. We at cre8tiveclass think differently and encourage traveling the unbeaten path in every field of human endeavors.  We are often compared to other clothing lines  but we’ve always believed that everyones  journey is unique and shouldnt be modeld after anyone else’s or we are all destined for the same results! While perusing the Internet I stumbled across this 1986 commercial of the first Air Jordan signature  sneaker  ever released. The general gist of the story is that the league banned the AJ1 sneaker with out explanation. Due to the brevity of the NBA in there reasons behind there decisions NIKE was forced to assume it was simply  because “they were just different”. MJ continued to wear the shoes despite their banning and the scrutiny he received, which in essence created a generation of rebels. That was 1986. 27 years later a new generation of rebels (ANGOR) have arrived and are relighting the torch. As a Jordan enthusiast, athlete and ambassador of individuality with the focus on community, I would like to pay homage to one of thE most legendary rebels in the world Michael Jordan. We at C8C encourage you all to pushing the envelope. Don’t be afraid to be different, if different is YOU. – Taully

I’ve watched this video over 10 times….so i figured i’d share it with the rest of the REBELS! Being that this is the start of the year this is definitely one TED Talk that everyone needs to watch.  Honestly this video has helped me understand myself  better and has given me more confidence to go even harder!  Hope you enjoy it…and if you do make sure you tell a friend! Knowledge is to be shared!
