On Friday, April 5th, we’ll be taking over The New Parish in Oakland in order to bring you yet another Bowties celebration. Like any other W&B function, we’ll be bringing through some of our favorite DJ’s to provide the soundtrack to a night full of good folks and familiar faces.

Headlining the night is Syd the Kyd. At 20 years old, Syd’s resume already boasts credits as a singer, songwriter, producer and DJ, both as half of cosmic R&B duo The Internet, and more broadly, as a member of the Odd Future collective. Needless to say, we’re juiced to have her be a part of this one.

2 Days ago the C8C fam Tree Thomas dropped his latest visual to his first single “High Way”. This video was shot in East Oakland, Weld street to be exact. The visual for  ”High Way” gives and inside look into the gritty part of our city that most will never get to see in person. As expected the C8C fam was in attendance! We are definitely looking forward to see whats next from our bro Tree.
